Motorola appears to be developing a new smartphone named the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, as hinted by a recent listing on Amazon Italy. Though Motorola hasn't officially confirmed the smartphone's existence, the listing suggests its release on Sept. 15.

The Edge 40 Neo is set to be the successor of the Motorola Edge 30 Neo, introduced in September of the previous year. In certain regions, this device is branded as the Motorola Edge 30 Lite. The Edge 30 Neo/Lite boasts a compact design with a 6.28-inch display. However, according to the recent listing, the Edge 40 Neo is set to feature a larger screen.

Based on the leaked details, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will sport a 6.55-inch P-OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The smartphone will be powered by the Dimensity 1050 chipset, coupled with 12 GB of RAM. While the front camera specifications remain undisclosed, the rear camera module will comprise a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The device will also be backed by a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 68W fast charging. Furthermore, it offers 256 GB internal storage and will run on Android 13. The phone's features also extend to an IP68-rated dustproof and water-resistant build, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB-C compatibility.

Concerning its availability, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo is scheduled for release in Italy by Sept. 15, with a price tag of 399 euros, available in the Black Beauty color variant.
