Huawei will hold a launch event next week to show off some new products. The Huawei Mate X3 and the Huawei P60 series are among the smartphones that will be revealed by the brand. Prior to launch, some details are showing up, as expected.

Huawei Mate X3 will feature Ultra Thin Glass and bigger display

Ross Young claims that the LTPO foldable display on the Huawei Mate X3 will be 7.85 inches, which is slightly smaller than the Huawei Mate X2's 8 inches. Nonetheless, the cover show will have a similar 6.45-inch show.

This suggests that the new model might be smaller and have thinner bezels on the cover display to keep the size of the model. Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) will also be used in the Mate X3, making it the first Huawei foldable device to bear this feature.

Huawei Mate X3 rumored specifications

It was reported that the phone will have a 2K resolution and use the old Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. However, due to Huawei's ban on using 5G technology, the device will probably use a 4G version of the chipset. It may contain a 4,800mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.

An IMX351 periscope zoom camera, a Sony IMX688 ultra-wide lens, and most likely a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 camera will make up the device's rear camera module. The Huawei Mate X3 will come pre-loaded with the company's own software, HarmonyOS 3.
