Following Qualcomm's recent announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship chipset, the tech world has been buzzing with new developments. Notably, the Xiaomi 14 series and iQOO 12 series, both featuring this new chip, have already made their debut in China. Adding to the excitement, there are reports that Qualcomm is preparing to launch two new Snapdragon 7-series chipsets. One of these, believed to be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, is expected to be unveiled later this month or in early December.

In a related development, the Vivo V30, rumored to be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, has been spotted on Geekbench. This listing has revealed significant details about the device, including its impressive score of 4167 points in the Vulkan GPU performance test.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Vivo V30 is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and runs on Android 14. The chipset in question, presumably the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, features a high-performance core clocked at 2.63GHz, three performance cores at 2.40GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.80GHz. It also includes an Adreno 720 GPU.

While the exact launch date of the Vivo V30 series remains unknown, Vivo is also anticipated to introduce the Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro in China. These models are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9200 Plus chipsets, respectively.

There's speculation that the Vivo V30 could be a modified version of the S18, and similarly, the V30 Pro might be a rebranded version of the S18 Pro. It's likely that the Vivo V30 series will make its debut in the first quarter of 2024 in several global markets, including India.
