Vivo X100 aims to compete with iPhone 15 Pro!

The much-anticipated Vivo X100 series is on the horizon. Speculations suggest that the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro models will make their debut in November, yet the company has not released any official statement. These devices are expected to house advanced camera capabilities. Additionally, new insights indicate that they might be powered by a chipset that could challenge the prowess of Apple's A17 Pro SoC.

Reliable sources, including the well-known Digital Chat Station, state that the Vivo X100 series will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chipset. This chipset is considered MediaTek's pinnacle in 5G technology. The details hint at the Dimensity 9300 being a robust entity, potentially featuring an octa-core CPU configuration with 4x Cortex-X4 and 4x Cortex-A720 cores. Notably, there's no inclusion of the Cortex-A520 in this chipset.

The technological aspects reveal that the chipset will adopt the N4P process—a sophisticated 4 nm solution that promises enhanced performance and better power conservation when juxtaposed with the N5 and N4 processes. For perspective, Apple's A17 Pro chip, housed in the iPhone Pro models, leverages TSMC's 3nm process. Yet, experts believe that the Dimensity 9300 might emerge as a formidable contender in terms of efficiency and overall performance.

However, it's essential to approach these claims with caution, given the absence of any benchmark scores for the Dimensity 9300. As for the Vivo X100 series release, it is confirmed that the unveil will occur before the year concludes, aligning with the rumored November launch. We remain on the lookout for an official announcement.
