The upcoming Vivo X90S has been making rounds in the rumor mill lately, and now we have more information about the device. According to reports, the X90S will be powered by the yet-to-be-announced MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, which is expected to be introduced on May 10. This information has been confirmed through a Google Play Console listing, which suggests that the device could be launched soon.

Vivo X90s to boast Dimensity 9200+

First of all, The X90S will be a part of the Vivo X90 series, which already consists of three phones - the X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. The Google Play Console listing (spotted via Gizmochina) for the upcoming Vivo X90S has confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek MT6985 chipset, which is believed to be the internal name for the yet-to-be-announced Dimensity 9200+ SoC.

The listing also reveals that this chipset will feature an ARM Cortex-X3 prime core clocked at 3.05 GHz, along with 3x Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.85GHz and 4x Cortex-A510 efficiency cores humming at 1.8GHz. The graphics processing unit (GPU) will be handled by the ARM Mali G715.

Other details about the X90S are still unknown, but it is expected to feature high-end specifications and be positioned as a budget flagship device in the Vivo X90 series.
