Vivo has expanded its smartphone lineup with the introduction of the vivo Y36i, a new addition that joins its siblings, the Y36 4G and Y36 5G, launched earlier in May. This latest model brings together a blend of features and specifications that are geared towards delivering a balanced user experience.

The vivo Y36i boasts a 6.56" HD+ LCD display, notable for its 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. This high refresh rate ensures a smoother visual experience, making it a suitable choice for gaming and video playback. Additionally, the screen's peak brightness reaches 840 nits, making it comfortably visible even in bright outdoor conditions. The display's versatility is further enhanced as it can go as low as two nits, suitable for low-light environments. A notch at the top houses the 5MP selfie camera, while the rear features a 13MP primary camera accompanied by an anti-stroboscopic sensor, ensuring good quality photography.

This combination promises a smooth and responsive user experience, handling daily tasks and moderate gaming with ease. The phone runs on Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0, offering users the latest Android features and optimizations. Its battery life is impressive, thanks to the 5,000 mAh battery, which supports 15W charging, ensuring that the phone can last through a day of moderate use.

Another highlight of the vivo Y36i is its connectivity features. It supports 5G, allowing users to take advantage of faster network speeds where available. The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, catering to both security and traditional audio needs.

The vivo Y36i comes in three color options, adding a touch of personalization for users. It's currently listed on vivo's official Chinese website with a price tag of CNY1,199, which translates to approximately $170/€155/INR14,080. However, the availability of the vivo Y36i in other markets remains unconfirmed as of now.
