The Xiaomi 14 Pro, expected to be Xiaomi's new flagship, appeared this time with its Geekbench performance.

In a bid to introduce its latest technological advancements, Xiaomi is gearing up for a significant launch event on October 26 in China. The spotlight is expected to shine on their next-generation Xiaomi 14 series, among other products. As always, prior to such significant releases, speculations and leaks are in abundance. Today's insight into the realm of the highly-anticipated series comes courtesy of Geekbench listings.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro has been identified on Geekbench under the model number 23116PN5BC. Delving into the specifications, the motherboard is codenamed 'shennong'. The chipset's configuration seems to consist of two cores operating at 2.27GHz, another duo at 2.296GHz, three more cores at 3.15GHz, and a dominant core clocked at 3.30GHz. This configuration hints at the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, rumored to be unveiled later in the week. The device, as per the listing, will boast a 16GB RAM, suggesting the possibility of multiple variants upon release. Furthermore, it's expected to run on Android 14 OS, enhanced by Xiaomi's custom HyperOS.

Leaked images depict the Xiaomi 14 Pro with a distinct square-like structure and a prominent square camera module accommodating four sensors. Among its features, it's set to incorporate a Leica Summilux lens, believed to offer improvements over the Summicron lenses found in its predecessors. In addition, promotional materials indicate an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, supplemented by Dolby Vision and Hi-Res Wireless Audio certifications.
