Twitter confirmed the reason why third-party apps are unable to access Twitter. Recently many problems occured on the platform resulting social media giant to have conflict.

@TwitterDev tweeted that the platform is now enforcing "long-standing API rules" that prompted Twitter to disconnect these third-party apps' API interfaces. Last week third-party apps that had access to the Twitter API were taken offline. The co-creator of Tweetbot, Paul Haddad, told The Verge that he still hasn't heard back from Twitter about the specific rules that were allegedly broken.

Elon Musk's take over on Twitter basically changed everything, but things did not change in a good way. After the purchase first Twitter Blue rules changed and huge layoffs happened, this also resulteed in many advertisers to withdraw from the platform. After everything going bad, Musk started a pool on Twitter and asked users if he should quit being the CEO or not.
