Twitter has been facing hard times ever since Elon Musk took over

Twitter's ad revenue in the US has reportedly fallen by more than half since Elon Musk took over the company. After Elon Musk took over the company he did not hesitate to make huge changes, but unfortunately they did not result in a good way. Musk first decided to do the Blue Check mark a paid one which started a huge controversy and then huge layoffs started to take place. All these has resulted the company to lose money and credit.

Recent reports show that Twitter's ad revenue has fallen by more than half. Internal documents show that Twitter sold $88 million worth of ads between April and May, down 59 percent from the same period last year, The New York Times reported.

 Several key sales executives at Twitter were fired shortly after Musk took over in October 2022, while controversial names like Donald Trump and Andrew Tate were allowed to return to the platform. Along with policy changes advertisement companies started to withdraw from the platform.

In April, Musk said the company had "nearly reached a bottom line", claiming that "almost all advertisers have returned or said they'll be back." Last month, Musk announced that he would step down from the CEO position of Twitter.
