Twitter removed a feature from the platform

Twitter is definitely one of the most argued social media platform lately. After Elon Musk took over the platform we have been hearing its name more than ever. As a result of the took over many things started to change including cutting off some features.

Twitter made the announcement on Wednesday that Moments is effectively being phased out. The feature, which debuted in 2015, made it easier for users to follow current events on the platform by letting them create curated collections of tweets. The Twitter Support account said, "As of today, we're removing the option for users to create Moments as we focus on improving other experiences," adding that Moments that had already been created would still be available on the website.

Twitter had begun to abandon the feature even before Elon Musk bought the company. The ability to create Moments in the company's iOS and Android apps was taken away in 2018. We will remove features when they are not used as frequently so that we can concentrate on developing other products that you will enjoy, Twitter stated at the time.
