According to the most recent report from Cybernews, an actor posted an advertisement in a hacking community forum to sell the personal information of over 500 million WhatsApp users, including their mobile numbers.

Additionally, the listing asserts that the data includes 32 million US users and users from 84 different nations.User data from countries like Egypt, Italy, Saudi Arabia, France, and Turkey are also on the list of compromised data. The personal information in question was even the subject of a price list created by hackers.In the United States, for instance, the user database for WhatsApp costs $7,000.Germany's database costs $2,000, while the UK's costs $2,500.Unfortunately, phone numbers that have been leaked can be used for numerous scams.Particularly vulnerable are users who are relatively older. WhatsApp's parent company, Meta, has yet to issue a statement.
