Apple to release new iPhone update, check new features!
Tech giant Apple will launch iOS 16.1 update for iPhone series on Monday. Here are all new features included in new update.
Apple released the iOS 16 operating system with the new iPhone 14 series. However, iOS 16 was released with bugs that especially upset iPhone 14 users. Later on, some of the problems on the iOS 16 were fixed with iOS 16.0.3 update. Now, Apple is ready to release the big iOS 16.1 update.
iOS 16.1 update will be released on October 24, here are the new features
iOS 16.1 will officially launch on October 24, according to Apple. Users will now be able to easily access to Apple Fitness+ from their iPhones with the forthcoming update. Moreover, iPhone users will be able to share photos with five people thanks to the support for the 'iCloud Shared Photo Library.' The 'Live Activities', 'Clean Energy Charging', and an expanded 'Reachability' function will all be included in the new iOS 16.1 update.
Apple Fitness+ access without an Apple Watch
Even if the users do not own an Apple Watch, iPhone users who install iOS 16.1 will be able to subscribe to Apple Fitness+ and gain access to the service.
For $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year, you can subscribe to Fitness+, a service that includes guided exercises and meditations.
Clean energy charging
Moreover, a new feature known as 'Clean Energy Charge' will be included in the iOS 16.1 update.
Apple claims that by allowing users to optimize charging when cleaner energy sources are available, this feature will help reduce your iPhone's carbon footprint.
iCloud shared photo library
Instead of the standard shared iCloud album, iOS 16.1 update will allow you to create an iCloud Shared Photo Library.
Five people can be invited to your library at once, where you can add, edit, or favorite photos and videos.
Live activities
Live activities will appear on your lock screen when you upgrade to iOS 16.1, showing updates about food orders, ridesharing apps like Uber, and sports games.
Other features is known as 'Reachability' for Dynamic Island and key sharing for the Wallet.
