Bloomberg and The Information report that Apple is already working on a less expensive version of its yet-to-be-announced mixed reality headset. The long expected and anticipated reality headset is yet to come but it looks like some reports suggest we have more products to look up for. The long-rumored mixed reality device is expected to cost around $3,000, which is double the price of the Quest Pro headset Meta released last year, according to previous reports.

The reality headset has shown itself on various reports and rumors but still yet to come. Apple's engineers are reportedly working on a less expensive version that is closer to the Quest Pro's price, and they are already talking about ways to get there, like using cheaper parts.

According to the sources, Apple has not yet produced a functional prototype for the less expensive mixed reality headset, which is still in its very early stages. Bloomberg, on the other hand, claims that the two headsets are being developed by the majority of Apple's 1,000-person Technology Development Group, and that the company may release one of them this year or in 2025.
