Elon Musk recently announced that he will be leaving the Twitter CEO. One of the most well-known women in the IT industry, Susan Wojcicki, the CEO of YouTube, just revealed that she will be leaving her position. Wojcicki outlines her decision to stand down as CEO in a letter to the staff at YouTube, citing the need to prioritize her family, health, and passion projects.

youtube ceoNeal Monhan, a longtime collaborator of Wojcicki's and her direct report at YouTube since 2015, will take her place. When Google acquired DoubleClick in 2007, Monhan started working there and eventually worked his way up to Senior Vice President of Display and Video Advertising. In 2015, he was appointed Chief Product Officer of YouTube and has since been in charge of the Trust and Safety team.Susan is not yet planning to leave YouTube. In her letter, she says that in addition to continuing to work with YouTube teams, coaching team members, and meeting with artists, she will assist Monhan during the transition. Wojcicki "agreed with Sundar to embark on an advising role throughout Google and Alphabet" in the long run, in which she will provide direction and counseling for all of Google's businesses.
