Oppo Pad got spotted once more before its global launch

Oppo is preparing to unveil its new foldable smartphone, the Oppo Find N3, this October. Previously, the company introduced the Find N3 Flip in China, and there's anticipation for its global debut. Alongside the phone, Oppo seems to have a new tablet in the pipeline for global audiences - the Oppo Pad Neo.

According to a recent NBTC listing, the Oppo OPD2303 will be branded as the Oppo Pad Neo. Earlier, there was speculation that this model number might be associated with the OnePlus Pad Go. Given this development, it seems the OnePlus Pad Go will undergo a rebranding and adopt the Oppo Pad Neo moniker. As a result, the specifications of the two devices are expected to mirror each other.

Diving into the potential features of the Oppo Pad Neo, it might flaunt an 11.35-inch LCD display boasting a 2.4K resolution and a unique 7:5 aspect ratio. Under the hood, we expect it to house 8GB of RAM and come with storage variants of 256GB, and possibly a 128GB option. Powering the tablet could be the Helio G99 chipset, backed by a robust 8,000mAh battery. This battery would likely support USB-C charging following the USB 2.0 standard.

When it comes to camera capabilities, the tablet might feature an 8MP sensor on both the front and the back. Audio is an essential aspect for tablets, and the Oppo Pad Neo might not disappoint with its probable four speakers integrated with Dolby Atmos. In terms of software, it's likely to run on the OxygenOS 13.2, based on Android 13, and might offer an added benefit of a microSD card slot for users seeking more storage.
