Today, Huawei unveiled several new products during its launch event in China, including the much-anticipated MatePad Pro 13.2", marking another impressive addition to their premium tablet lineup.

The MatePad Pro 13.2" stands out with its tall 13.2-inch flexible OLED display, making it the first of its kind in the tablet market. This display is not only expansive but also boasts an impressive resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels. It offers a wide P3 color gamut, a staggering contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, and an exceptional peak brightness of 1000 nits. The screen also flaunts a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and is certified with Rheinland Global Eye Protection 3.0.

In terms of design, the MatePad Pro 13.2" prioritizes sleekness and functionality. The front is dominated by the edge-to-edge screen, and when turned around, a neat circular camera module becomes apparent. One of the most impressive design aspects is its screen-to-body ratio, which reaches an industry-leading 94%. This tablet ensures comfort in its design, weighing just 580 grams and measuring a slim 5.5mm in thickness, making it one of the thinnest and lightest tablets of its size in the world.

On the inside, this tablet is no less remarkable. It's powered by the Kirin 9000s, a powerhouse processor that also drives Huawei's flagship Mate 60 smartphone series. Accompanying this is up to 16GB of RAM and a generous storage space of up to 1TB. Huawei also places a premium on device longevity, equipping the tablet with a 10,100mAh battery that supports 88W fast charging. This ensures users can get up to 85% charge in just 40 minutes and a full charge in around 65 minutes.

Audio quality is also a focal point, with the MatePad Pro 13.2" boasting six dual-channel speakers that support spatial audio and Huawei Sound certification. Its camera setup is versatile, with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera paired with a ToF sensor, and a dual-camera system at the rear featuring 13-megapixel and 8-megapixel lenses. Connectivity options are abundant, with features like Bluetooth 5.2, AAC, and LDAC codecs. Running on HarmonyOS 4, the tablet is complemented by Huawei's third-generation M-Pen stylus.
