Vivo, the renowned smartphone manufacturer, has long been recognized for its cutting-edge mobile devices. With a reputation for pushing boundaries in the smartphone industry, Vivo has recently been teasing tech enthusiasts with hints of a new flagship tablet in the works.

Vivo Pad, introduced last year, garnered attention for its impressive features and affordability. Now, Vivo is back with the Vivo Pad 2, which appears to offer even more value in most areas.

Vivo Pad 2 specifications

First of all, Vivo Pad 2 features a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.8K resolution and a high-refresh rate of 144Hz. It supports HDR10 and has a peak brightness of 600 nits. The tablet also supports stylus and keyboard compatibility, with the stylus able to attach to the side of the tablet. A notable feature of the Vivo Pad 2 is its proprietary simulation writing engine, which provides users with a pen-and-paper-like tactile feedback, making it suitable for note-taking or drawing.

As to audio, the Vivo Pad 2 is equipped with four full-range speakers and two tweeters, delivering up to 6W of sound output. The tablet boasts a sleek metallic unibody design that is lightweight and slim.

If we want to mention about optics, Vivo Pad 2 includes a circular rear camera module housing a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and an LED flash unit, along with an 8MP front-facing selfie camera.

Lastly, the Vivo Pad 2 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The tablet is backed by a 10,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. It runs on the latest Android 13-based OriginOS 3 for Pad, offering seamless cross-screen collaboration between the tablet, mobile, and PC devices.

The tablet looks cool, what about the pricing and availability?
