CUPERTINO, Cali (TechtUSA) - Apple has finally announced that it will hold its 34th annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) from June 5 to June 9, and that it will primarily take place online like the 2020, 2021, and 2022 events. The conference will be free to attend for all developers.

What can we expect from Apple's WWDC 2023?

While nothing has been confirmed yet, rumors are already circulating about what Apple might announce at WWDC. Speculators are hoping that iOS 17 will finally allow outside app stores on iOS devices, with Europe potentially being the first market to enable this feature.

Additionally, a much-anticipated update to CarPlay may be announced, which would align with Google's recent overhaul of Android Auto. Apple previously showcased a prototype of the new CarPlay at the last WWDC. Attendees could also gain insight into the upcoming iPhone 15.

While hardware announcements are typically not made at WWDC, this year may be an exception, with Apple possibly unveiling their long-awaited virtual and augmented reality headset as reported by Bloomberg. Furthermore, new high-powered Macs may also be introduced to developers during the event.

Apple further intends to give developers more details before WWDC 2023 via various channels such as email, the Apple Developer app, and the Apple Developer website.
