For many, the name "Mini" instantly evokes images of compact, efficient cars with a signature design. In a daring venture, Mini is expanding its horizons beyond four wheels. In partnership with the French brand Angell Mobility, they introduce the Mini E-Bike 1, blending Mini's iconic style with state-of-the-art e-bike technology.

This isn't just any e-bike. The Mini E-Bike 1 stands out due to its incredible adaptability. Designed to cater to riders of all heights, the bike promises a customizable experience. Mainly targeting urban commuters, it's crafted with a sturdy aluminum frame coupled with a thermoplastic chain guard. Its versatile design and features can easily liken it to the Swiss Army knife among e-bikes, ready to tackle varied riding conditions.

Performance-wise, the Mini E-Bike 1 leaves no stone unturned. It's powered by a 250-watt rear hub motor, which riders can seamlessly manage either through an integrated system or a smartphone application. This flexibility ensures riders can adjust performance metrics while on the move. An additional highlight is the bike's 2.1-kilogram battery pack, discreetly positioned under what might appear to be a luggage rack. While not designed to hold bags, this arrangement simplifies the charging process.

The bike's companion app further amplifies its modern appeal. With just a few smartphone taps, users can secure their bike, pinpoint its location through GPS, or unlock it. And for those early birds or night owls, the Mini E-Bike 1 is equipped with front and rear lights, ensuring rider visibility and safety at all times.

Rounding off its aesthetic appeal, the bike is available in two striking colors: Ocean Wave Green and Vibrant Silver, both reminiscent of Mini’s signature shades. What’s more, its exclusivity is assured. Only 1,959 units will be available, a tribute to the year the first Mini Cooper graced the streets. As for its price point? At $3,716, it might be on the premium side, but it promises an array of features that make it an enticing proposition for contemporary commuters.
