Earlier this year, Honor unveiled its MagicBook 14 laptop in China. This release made waves due to its impressive display and potent processor, but it was initially limited to a 16GB RAM configuration. Recognizing the need for more robust performance capabilities, Honor has since expanded its offering by introducing a 32GB RAM variant of the MagicBook 14.

Chinese consumers can now opt for the MagicBook 14 with an elevated 32GB RAM, available for pre-sale at a starting price of 5,599 Yuan ($768). The official sale of this enhanced model commences on August 24.

Diving into its specifications, the MagicBook 14 boasts a 14.2-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, achieving a high screen-to-body ratio of 91.5%. The screen's resolution stands at 2520 x 1680, and it delivers vibrant visuals with 460nits brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, and complete sRGB color gamut coverage. For added eye comfort, the display has been certified by TUV Rheinland for Low Blue Light and No Screen Flicker triple eye protection.

Under the hood, the laptop is driven by the latest 13th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, with an optional inclusion of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It operates on Magic OS for Windows, enhanced by HONOR OS Turbo 2.0 technology, ensuring reduced power consumption and bolstered performance.

Addressing cooling and efficiency, the MagicBook 14 introduces a grille-type dual air inlet design. This innovation augments the air intake by 31.7%. Paired with a revamped heat dissipation system with symmetrical dual fans, it elevates the airflow by 35%, ensuring 56% more efficient heat removal compared to its predecessor, all while maintaining a hushed operation at just 20dB. Aesthetically and functionally, the laptop dons an all-metal body and houses a sizable 75Wh battery, promising up to 15 hours of uninterrupted usage. An added perk is its reverse charging capability when switched off.
