Lenovo recently introduced its latest laptop, the Legion Slim 5, for markets outside China. The powerhouse machine is equipped with impressive specifications, including an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS processor and 140W fast charging capability. The Legion Slim 5 features a vibrant 14-inch OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

This robust machine weighs in at 1.9 kg, presenting a strong yet lightweight build. Despite its compact 14-inch size, which makes it too small to incorporate a number pad, the laptop boasts a thickness of 21 mm. Its design bears striking similarities to the Legion R9000X 2023 that was recently launched in China featuring the Ryzen 7 7840H processor.

The Legion Slim 5 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS processor and features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with a 105 W performance release. In addition to 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, the laptop can be configured with up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X-6400 RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage.

The laptop's 14-inch OLED panel delivers a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and can reach a peak brightness of 400 nits. It also supports a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. In terms of power, the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 is equipped with a 73.6 Wh battery and supports 140W fast charging. Impressively, the laptop can be charged from 0% to 70% in just half an hour.

The Legion Slim 5 is not short on connectivity ports either. It includes two USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, an SD card reader, and a HDMI 2.1 port. Lenovo is expected to begin selling the Legion Slim 5 next month, with an anticipated starting price of $1,439.99 in the US.
