Explicit insights regarding the 55-year-old's disease stayed undisclosed, fans were worried and different rumors started to spread. Foxx has now stood up on his experience, making sense of why he avoided the public eye. "I simply didn't believe you should see me like that," he said in an Instagram video. " I maintain that you should see me giggling, living it up, celebrating, telling a wisecrack, doing a film, a TV program."
He said: “I just didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through.
“I just want to say that I love everybody, and I love all the love that I got. I am on my way back. I cannot even begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back. I went through something that I thought I would never, ever go through.”
