Surprising statements from Big Bang Theory's Sheldon

Big Bang Theory is one of the most loved shows of all times and Sheldon of the show has something to say about it. The show can be seen as one of the classics with fans all over the world but this success came as a surprise for someone. Jim Parsons, star of The Big Bang Theory, said he was skeptical when he started the project, saying he wasn't sure the show would hold up.

Parsons appeared on the 15-season series from start to finish. While the show has gathered so much success Parsons admitted that he didn't fully trust the project at the beginning.

Speaking to Hollywood Outbreak, Parsons said  "I didn't think it would stay on the air for so long, but I was able to connect with the series. I can say that. As a player, I don't think such things happen very often. In many roles, you think: 'I can do this, and it would be nice. But from the moment I read the script of The Big Bang Theory, something was inside me. I didn't think it would take this long though."
