The latest update to Gran Turismo 7 will allow gamers of the PSVR 2 to play the game with a new level of realism. The VR experience will be compatible with all races and game modes, except for the two-player split-screen mode. Additionally, the game will add a special VR Showroom area in the Garage where players can see the stunning details of car models in various locations and lighting settings.

The update allows players to meet the GT Sophy AI, a superhuman racing artificial intelligence agent that will be available in a game mode called GT Sophy Race Together and exclusive to the PS5 version of Gran Turismo 7.

In this mode, players can race against a series of increasingly difficult AI opponents. They can also compete against the AI in a one-on-one environment with the same car configurations and settings that showcase the AI's superhuman racing skills. The GT Sophy Race Together mode will be presented as a limited-time event from February 21 to the end of March.
