MSI joins the gaming monitor competition

One of the world's largest monitor manufacturers, MSI, has secured its spot in the competition with its new gaming monitor.

After last month's unveiling of gaming hardware like the MSI Dark Knight desktop and the MAG 323UPF Gunner 4K monitor, MSI has now presented a fresh addition to the gaming world: the MSI G32CQ5P curved monitor, designed for a global audience.

With a generous 31.5-inch display, the MSI G32CQ5P is specifically built to offer an engulfing viewing experience, thanks to its 1500R curvature. This monitor doesn't compromise on clarity either; its WQHD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels delivers crisp visuals that cater not just to gamers, but also to those in creative professions.

Performance remains at the core of this monitor. Boasting a swift 170Hz refresh rate combined with an impressive 1ms response time (MPRT), the MSI G32CQ5P guarantees fluid, uninterrupted gaming sessions. Its Adaptive-Sync technology further amplifies the experience by syncing the monitor’s refresh rate with the graphics card, ensuring that the days of screen tearing are behind.

For enthusiasts who have a penchant for HDR content, they'd be pleased to know that the MSI G32CQ5P is “HDR Ready,” guaranteeing enhanced image quality that comes with a more vibrant color palette and a stark contrast ratio. And no matter from where one looks, the wide 178-degree viewing angle, both horizontally and vertically, assures consistent and clear visuals.

On the design front, the monitor sports a contemporary, frameless design. Its compatibility with VESA mounting offers versatility in placement options. MSI has also taken ergonomics into consideration, allowing for various adjustments: tilt (-5° to 20°), swivel (-30° to 30°), and height (0 to 90 mm). And for those concerned about security, the inclusion of a Kensington lock provides added peace of mind. Information regarding its price and availability remains undisclosed for now.
