Qualcomm is on the brink of unveiling its next-generation flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Anticipation is high, given that a myriad of upcoming premium smartphones is slated to incorporate this chipset. Adding to the fervor, the tech giant has recently shared its plans to host the Snapdragon Summit. This event, a linchpin for Qualcomm, will be the stage for the announcement of new technologies.

As detailed by the company's official X handle, formerly known as Twitter, the conference is destined to take place in the picturesque locale of Maui, Hawaii. Besides allowing in-person attendees to immerse in the discussions, Qualcomm is also offering a live stream for those unable to make the journey. The 8th annual Snapdragon Summit has been scheduled to commence on the 25th of October 2023, a Tuesday, spanning across three days and culminating on the 26th.

Shifting focus to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, its launch is set for October 23 at 12 PM PDT. This processor stands as the successor in Qualcomm's lineage of high-end chipsets. Intriguingly, it's rumored to be available in two distinct variants differentiated by the 4nm and 3nm processes, both of which are products of TSMC's manufacturing. Another standout feature is its compatibility with the ultra-fast LPDDR5T RAM.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's prowess doesn't end here. It's believed to be mated with the Adreno 750 GPU and boasts an architecture consisting of a 2+3+3+1 core structure. Signifying the leap in technology, these cores are the evolved versions of ARM cores, known for their enhanced power efficiency and elevated performance levels.
