Xiaomi has unveiled its MIJIA Automatic Soap Dispenser 1S, now available for crowdfunding on the Youpin platform. Priced at 79 yuan (roughly $11), this rate is expected to remain consistent until the crowdfunding period concludes on October 8.

The innovative MIJIA Automatic Soap Dispenser 1S boasts an infrared induction mechanism, eliminating the need for any manual pressing. In just 0.25 seconds, the dispenser produces a "micron-level" dense foam, minimizing the risk of cross-contamination. This new iteration incorporates a USB Type-C charging interface, supported by an in-built lithium battery and a highly efficient micro-motor. Official statements from Xiaomi suggest that a single full charge can power the device for an impressive 180 days.

Aesthetically, the dispenser embodies a minimalist design ethos, enhanced by ultrasonic sealing technology. Both the charging port and foam outlet have been waterproofed, with the device meeting IPX5 waterproof standards. Additionally, the hand sanitizer container is crafted from a premium frosted material.

The hand sanitizer itself is uniquely formulated to mirror the pH level of human skin, enriched with glycerin. Consumers have a choice between two sanitizer variants: a standard antibacterial formula and a moisture-rich amino acid alternative, available for separate purchase. Laboratory tests have validated the antibacterial sanitizer's effectiveness against common pathogens like Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Candida albicans, boasting a 99.9% antibacterial rate. On the other hand, the amino acid option includes surfactants derived from natural coconut oil.
