OnePlus is all set to unveil its next flagship, the OnePlus 12, on December 4th in China. In the lead-up to this highly anticipated launch, a plethora of leaks and official teasers have gradually pieced together a detailed picture of the technical specifications and features of the smartphone. The OnePlus 12 is slated to feature a 6.82-inch BOE AMOLED Display, boasting a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This 2K+ display is further enhanced by 2160Hz PWM dimming and an impressive pixel density of 510, attributed to its diamond-shaped pixel arrangement. OnePlus has officially teased that the display will offer a maximum brightness of 4500 nits, although testing by Digital Chat Station indicates a peak brightness of 1722 nits. It's speculated that the OnePlus 12 may utilize a “Sunlight” algorithm for comfortable use under direct sunlight while maintaining efficiency. The incorporation of Oppo’s Display P1 chip and a precise pixel-level calibration algorithm are expected to significantly enhance the quality, brightness, and efficiency of the display.

The OnePlus 12's display, which has achieved DisplayMate A+ certification, is poised to set a new standard in the 2K segment in China. In addition to its impressive display, the OnePlus 12 is officially confirmed to feature a sophisticated camera system, developed in collaboration with Oppo's Find series’ imaging team. It will include a triple-rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 64MP OmniVision periscope lens, and a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide lens, along with a 13-channel multi-spectral sensor similar to the one present on the OnePlus 11.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, supported by up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device is also expected to be equipped with a 5400 mAh battery, complemented by a 100W charging adapter.
