Following the launch of the Realme GT 5 Pro, Realme is set to introduce its next generation of smartphones, the Realme 12 Series. This series, which serves as the successor to the Realme 11 Series, has already been spotted on the BIS Certification in India, indicating its imminent arrival. In a surprising development, both the Realme 12 Pro and the Realme 12 Pro 5G have also received certification from the UAE’s TDRA, hinting at a broader global launch.

Details about the Realme 12 Series models, namely the Realme 12 Pro (RMX3842) and Realme 12 Pro+ (RMX3840), have surfaced on the TDRA listing. However, the listing does not elaborate on the features or specifications of these upcoming smartphones, merely confirming their impending global debut.

Anticipated features of the Realme 12 Series include the integration of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 gen 3 SoC, which is built on a 3nm process, and the Adreno GPU. The Realme 12 Pro is expected to sport a 32MP IMX709 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom support. In contrast, the Realme 12 Pro+ might be equipped with a 64MP Omnivision OV64B lens offering 3x optical zoom. Both models are rumored to feature a dual-rear camera module housed within a circular camera design.

Competing with the likes of the Redmi Note 13 Series, which is already available in China and is slated for a global release soon, the Realme 12 Series is expected to be a strong contender in the market. While the exact launch date is yet to be announced, speculations point towards a launch by the end of this month or early next month. The estimated retail price is around 2000 yuan, which is approximately $273.

In the meantime, Realme has recently expanded its portfolio in India with the introduction of the Realme 11 5G and Realme 11x 5G. The Realme 11 5G boasts a 108MP primary sensor with 3x camera zoom and 67W SuperVooc charging. The Realme 11x 5G, on the other hand, features a 64MP camera, 67W SuperVooc charging, and a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

As Realme continues to tease more information about its upcoming series, the tech community eagerly anticipates what improvements in hardware specifications and software enhancements the Realme 12 Series will bring to the table.
