Xiaomi's Redmi Note 13 series, which made its debut in China this past September, is now making strides towards a global release. A recent listing of the Redmi Note 13 5G on Thailand's NBTC certification database is a clear indicator that the international launch is not far off.

The global model, carrying the identifier 2312DRAABG, has passed the NBTC certification—a vital step towards its global introduction. Although the certification itself doesn't disclose specifics, it's anticipated that the global Redmi Note 13 5G will reflect the specifications of its Chinese counterpart.

The Redmi Note 13 5G impresses with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, offering Full HD+ resolution (1080 × 2400 pixels), a swift 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It shines with a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a 10-bit color panel for rich, vibrant images. Notably, it also features a 3.5mm audio jack, an infrared sensor, and IP54 dust and splash resistance for added durability.

Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC drives the device, alongside the Mali G57 GPU for graphics. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2, with microSD support for additional space. RAM configurations are also flexible, with choices of 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The device runs on MIUI 14, based on Android 13, ensuring a smooth and current software experience.

The camera system features a high-resolution 100MP main camera complemented by a 2MP depth sensor, and LED flash, ready to cater to diverse photography needs. The front hosts a 16MP camera for capturing clear selfies.

Battery life is robust, thanks to the 5000mAh capacity and 33W fast charging support via USB Type-C, promising extended use and convenience.

Previously, the device also made appearances on IMDA, FCC, and BIS certification websites, which hints that Xiaomi is preparing for a soon-to-be-announced global launch.
