Samsung continues its commitment to keeping its devices up-to-date, even for models that are almost four years old. The Samsung Galaxy A71, released in December 2019, has recently received its latest security patch. Initially launched with Android 10, the smartphone had been updated to Android 13-based OS One UI 5 in 2022. The most recent security patch, identified by the build version A715FXXU8CVI3, is around 485MB in size and fixes more than 60 security vulnerabilities from the previous version.

This not only enhances the security of the Galaxy A71 but also offers improved stability and rectifies several bugs. Even though the device has operated on Android 13 for a significant duration, it's uncertain if it will be updated to Android 14.
