Oppo is set to make waves in the smartphone market with the anticipated announcement of the Reno 11 series and the Pad Air 2 tablet in China on Thursday, November 23. Following this launch, the company's focus is expected to shift towards the Find X7 series, slated for release in the first quarter of 2024. In a recent development, the renowned tipster Digital Chat Station leaked significant camera details of the Find X7 Pro model on Weibo.

The leaked information reveals that the Oppo Find X7 Pro will break new ground in smartphone technology as the world’s first device equipped with dual periscope telephoto cameras. This marks a significant evolution from its predecessor's triple-camera setup, offering a quad-camera system instead.

According to the leak, the rear camera setup of the Find X7 Pro will feature a formidable 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera, boasting a large 1-inch sensor size for superior image quality. Complementing this are two additional 50-megapixel sensors: the IMX890 with a 1/1.56-inch size offering 2.7x optical zoom, and the IMX858 with a 1/2.4-inch size and 6x optical zoom. The camera array is also expected to include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Enhancing the Find X7 Pro's camera capabilities is a new XCD solution that promises improved color calibration, developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. This partnership aims to elevate the photography experience by delivering high-quality and versatile camera performance.

Under the hood, the Find X7 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. In contrast, the standard Find X7 model is rumored to feature the Dimensity 9300 SoC. Speculations suggest that the Find X7 series could be announced before the 2024 Chinese Spring Festival, indicating a potential launch by late January or early February. However, it remains unclear whether the X7 and X7 Pro models will be available in global markets.
