Earlier this year, iQOO unveiled the Neo 8 smartphone in China, boasting a configuration of up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. However, by June, the company took a leap forward, introducing a further enhanced variant featuring a staggering 16GB of RAM paired with 1TB of storage.
The upgraded version recently made an appearance for pre-orders on JD.com, and is slated for an official release tonight at 8:00 PM. Initially, the device was tagged at 3699 Yuan ($505), but the current listing prices it at a more affordable 2499 Yuan ($342).
In terms of specifications, the Neo 8 doesn't disappoint. It sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, boasting a resolution of 2800x1260 pixels, complemented by a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level reaching 1300 nits. Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, paired with the vivo V1+ chip. This powerful combination manages to curtail power consumption by 14.2% during intense gaming sessions.
