Vivo is gearing up for an exciting launch with its new S18 and S18 Pro smartphones, set to be announced on December 27 in China. Adding to the anticipation, the company has recently unveiled official posters, revealing the chipsets that will power these new models. Additionally, leaks have surfaced regarding the chipset of the S18e, rounding out the S18 series.

The Vivo S18 is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, a powerful processor also found in its competitor, the Honor 100. This chipset promises to deliver robust performance, catering to the needs of tech-savvy users. The S18 is expected to come in various configurations, including options with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, a larger 512 GB storage option, and an even more powerful variant with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.

The S18 Pro, on the other hand, takes a different route with the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset. This chipset is notable for its use in several high-end phones, such as the Xiaomi 13T Pro, Redmi K60 Ultra, Vivo X90s, and iQOO Neo 8 Pro. The choice of this chipset for the S18 Pro indicates Vivo's commitment to delivering top-tier performance.

For the Vivo S18e, a Chinese leaker has hinted at the inclusion of the Dimensity 7200 chipset. This processor is already seen in various models like the Vivo S17e, Vivo V27, Vivo T2 Pro 5G, iQOO Z7 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. The S18e is rumored to feature a flat display, although its size remains undisclosed.

In terms of display, the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro are reported to sport a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED panel, boasting a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 2,800 nits. The S18e is expected to pack a 4,800mAh battery and a dual-camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

Lastly, the S18 and S18 Pro are anticipated to come with a larger 5,000mAh battery, supported by 80W fast charging. The camera setup for these models is equally impressive, with the S18 featuring a dual-camera system and the Pro edition sporting a triple camera setup, promising high-quality photography capabilities.
