Officials of the Sainte-Catherine-Labouré nursing home in the city of Toulon, in the south of France, announced that the nun died in her bed on Tuesday. Sister Randon, also known as "the veteran nurse Andre," has been revealed to have long wished for death herself. The old woman, born on February 11, 1904, had recovered from Kovid-19 at the beginning of 2021.

Randon asked, "How did you live so long?" on a French radio in 2020. He gave the following answer to the question: I have no idea what the secret is. Only God can answer this question.

The new holder of the title was Branyas, born on March 4, 1907. The Catalan woman, who opened her eyes to the world in California, USA, moved to Spain when she was a child.
