Twitch to price up its Turbo service

Twitch is gamer's favorite application, yet it seems like there will be some price up within the app. The application has announced that Twitch is raising prices for its ad-free Turbo service. If you want to watch livestreamers without being constantly interrupted by ads, be prepared to pay a little bit more.

The US price of Twitch's ad-free Turbo subscription plan is going up from $9 to $12 per month. The month to month cost for Super is expanding all through the globe.

Emails were sent out Thursday informing current Turbo subscribers of the price changes; however, there is some good news for long-time customers. In addition, existing customers receive a grace period of three months before being compelled to accept the new price. There is no such grace period for new subscribers. This significant increase occurs shortly after Twitch, which is owned by Amazon, hired a new CEO and laid off approximately 400 employees as part of required cost-cutting measures across its parent company.  In the tech industry we have seen so many layoffs in the last years and it still continues.
