Social media giant TikTok has announced that they will live stream FIFA 22 World Cup in 4K, but it looks like it will be free in China.

Tiktok aims to stand out not only with its short-format videos, but also with its different activities. The company, which has changed everything on social media since its launch, has now announced its new plans. The new announcement will especially please football fans, if you live in China. TikTok, made the official announcement earlier today that it will stream the FIFA 22 World Cup for free. The popular football World Cup live broadcast will be available for free on the company's platform, but only in China.

Qatar is hosting the FIFA 2022 World Cup, and earlier this year, and TikTok won the rights to stream the tournament. As a result, TikTok's popular short video-sharing platform in China will now basically cover the entire 28-day event and provide free live broadcasts of all games in Ultra HD (4K) quality. TikTok will offer a number of features to make watching the stream more interactive in addition to simply streaming the FIFA games. Allowing users to invite friends to chat while watching the game is one example of this. Unfortunately it won't be available on the global TikTok app.
