An Android specialist has revealed that Google is in the process of developing a new feature designed to enhance connectivity among Android devices linked to a single account, akin to Apple's Continuity feature. This functionality will enable users to seamlessly transition calls and share internet connections across their interconnected Android devices, similar to how Apple users can take calls on Macs and iPads within the same network.

By integrating multiple Android devices under a single Google account, users will gain access to features like Call Switching and Internet Sharing. The former allows users to effortlessly switch calls between devices, while the latter facilitates easy sharing of the primary device's network connection with other Android gadgets, akin to a mobile hotspot.

Interestingly, a provided screenshot hints that the Call Switching feature will extend to diverse Android phones, setting it apart from Apple's solution, which is limited to iPads, Macs, and MacBooks.

Although Google has yet to formally announce this feature, Mishaal Rahman suggests that the "Link Your Device" functionality will likely be accessible through the Settings menu under Google's Devices & Sharing sub-section. As Google continues to enhance its ecosystem, this feature could mark a significant step toward offering a more integrated and seamless user experience across Android devices.
