Xiaomi is gearing up for a launch event on August 14 in China. The event will spotlight the introduction of several products including the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, Redmi K60 Ultra, and notably, the Redmi Pad SE. Intriguingly, indications suggest that the Redmi Pad SE might also see a release in markets outside China.

The Redmi Pad SE, identified by the model number 23073RPBFG, has successfully passed the TDRA certification. While the certification remains tight-lipped about detailed specifications, it does confirm that the tablet is set to debut in the UAE. With this certification in place, it's plausible that the tablet might pop up in other regional certification lists soon.

The Redmi Pad SE is reportedly equipped with an 11-inch LCD display, boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. This display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, has a pixel density of 207ppi, and can shine as brightly as 400 nits. Additionally, the screen has a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and covers 70% of the NTSC color spectrum.

Under the hood, the Redmi Pad SE is powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor, paired with 4 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128 GB. The tablet operates on Android 13, layered with Xiaomi's MIUI for Pad interface. The device is energized by an 8,000mAh battery, which benefits from 10W charging through its USB-C port.

In the camera department, the Redmi Pad SE features an 8-megapixel rear sensor and a 5-megapixel front shooter. To amplify the audio experience, the tablet is integrated with a quad-speaker setup, fine-tuned by Dolby Atmos. As for security, there's a notable absence of a fingerprint scanner, suggesting that facial recognition will be the primary unlock mechanism. Furthermore, the tablet is rumored to support stylus input.
