Samsung has discreetly introduced its Galaxy Tab A9 series in India. Both the Galaxy Tab A9 and the Galaxy Tab A9+ are available for purchase via Amazon. The Galaxy Tab A9 supports 4G LTE, while its counterpart, the Tab A9+, boasts 5G connectivity.

The Galaxy Tab A9 features an 8.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 1340 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. At its core, it operates on the Helio G99 chipset. It also houses a 5,100mAh battery compatible with 15W charging. The tablet's camera system includes a 2-megapixel front shooter and an 8-megapixel primary camera. With a sleek design, it weighs 366 grams and has a thickness of just 8mm.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab A9+ showcases an 11-inch LCD, delivering a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a more fluid 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Snapdragon 695 chipset and is powered by a 7,040mAh battery, also supporting 15W charging. The camera setup comprises a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Notably, it weighs 510 grams, has a slim profile with a thickness of 6.9mm, and is enhanced with AKG-tuned quad speakers for an immersive audio experience.

Both models offer a range of connectivity options, including SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3. They also come with the One UI-based Android 13.

Regarding pricing in India, the Galaxy Tab A9 is available in two variants: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage (Wi-Fi-only) priced at Rs 12,999 ($156) and another version with 4G support priced at Rs 13,999 ($168). The specific variants for the Galaxy Tab A9+ are not fully detailed on Amazon. However, the 8GB+128GB Wi-Fi-only version is priced at Rs 20,999 (~$252). Potential buyers should be aware that the Galaxy Tab A9 series doesn't come with a charger in the box. Both tablets are available in three distinct colors: Dark Blue, Grey, and Silver.
