Simpsons prank was discovered

A Simpsons fan has uncovered a joke that hasn't been heard for 31 years using digital processing. The joke in question in The Otto Show, the classic episode of the third season, was previously inaudible. As technology develops many things are coming to surface, Simpsons is also one of those.

In this episode, Marge is seen warning Bart about the volume of a rock concert she's going to. Marge says: I hope Spinal Taps doesn't play too loud.

Then Homer replies, "Oh Marge, I've been to thousands of heavy metal concerts and I've never been hurt." In the next frame, Marge appears to respond from Homer's point of view, but Homer's tinnitus completely drowns out Marge's voice.

Twitter user @Ewzzy shared an edited version of the video, digitally adjusting the audio, making Marge's lines finally audible.

In response to Homer's comment, Marge actually says:

All right, but make sure kids aren't affected by your group's attitude towards women... drinking, religion, politics... anything really.
