Vivo is set to reveal its latest smartphone offerings, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, on November 13th in China. Ahead of this much-anticipated launch, there's been a steady stream of leaks concerning the key specifications of these devices. Renowned tipster Ishan Agarwal has recently provided an in-depth look into the camera specifications of both models, giving enthusiasts a sneak peek into what they can expect.

The Vivo X100 Pro is expected to boast a robust camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main camera equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an F/1.75 aperture. Complementing this is a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with an F/2.0 aperture and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS, offering 4.3x zoom and an F/2.5 aperture. An exciting addition to the X100 Pro's capabilities is its support for 8K video recording.

The standard Vivo X100 is set to feature a similar but distinct camera setup. It will include a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and an F/1.6 aperture, alongside a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with an F/2.0 aperture. Additionally, it will have a 64-megapixel 3X telephoto camera with OIS and an F/2.6 aperture, offering a slightly different range compared to the Pro model.

Further reports suggest that both the X100 and X100 Pro will incorporate high-quality Sony IMX920 and IMX989 primary cameras, respectively. They are also expected to use a Samsung JN1 lens for ultra-wide shots and an OmniVision OV64B camera for periscope telephoto shots. The tipster has provided a GIF showcasing the camera module of the Vivo X100 series, offering a visual insight into the design.

Notably, the rear camera module on both the X100 and X100 Pro is identical. However, a distinguishing feature is the crescent design placement. The X100 Pro has this design element towards the bottom of the device, while the standard X100 positions it on the right side.

Both models are rumored to be powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset and are expected to be priced starting at 3,999 Yuan (~$549). As the launch date approaches, anticipation is building for what these new devices from Vivo will bring to the smartphone market.
