In the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Elon Musk and Bernard Arnault have been fighting for the throne. Businesspeople with a net worth of more than $100 billion have been competing for the top spot in the index for months.
Elon Musk is the richest man again
But Arnault's wealth dwindled Wednesday after a 2.6 percent drop in shares of his company, LVMH, according to Bloomberg. Arnault's net worth is approximately $187 billion as of June 1.
Musk, the owner of Tesla, SpaceX and Twitter, has earned more than $55.3 billion this year thanks to his electric car company. The wealth of the tech billionaire has reached 192 billion dollars. The value of LVMH's shares has increased 19.7 percent this year. The increase in Tesla shares reached 65.6 percent.
Elon Musk has lost so many credit when we consider what has been going on with Twitter, but it looks like it is impossible to pass him when it comes to being the richest in the world.
