The lawyer of the alleged victim, Ariel Mitchell, told The Independent that her client had handed over the clothes she wore during the alleged incident to detectives for forensic tests. How to story took place is also explained by the victim. "My client went to the police on Sunday, but was turned down and encouraged to seek legal advice before continuing the matter. He later met with me and filed a report Wednesday," Mitchell said in a statement.
"My client only wants one thing, and that is justice. He's on his way to find justice, and I'm going to make sure he gets it. McGregor's attorney, Barbara Llanes, told: "The allegations are untrue. Mr. McGregor will not be digested."
Mitchell says the alleged victim was separated from her friend by NBA and Heat security guards and found herself in the men's restroom of the hall. The lawyer alleges that McGregor kissed the woman and forced her to have sexual intercourse.
