Xiaomi TV S series with 144Hz are coming
On March 22, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will introduce a new television to China. The Xiaomi TV S series is the official name of the product. On Weibo, the company has released a few teasers. They show off some of this TV's features.
The company has shared two teasers on Weibo thus far. The television will be able to refresh at up to 144 Hz, according to one of them. The other, on the other hand, reveals that the TV will be powered by a MediaTek MT9653 chipset.
MediaTek's website does not list this chip, which suggests that it may be new. The teaser suggests that the SoC will include a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 CPU. In addition, 3200Mbps RAM will be supported by the chipset.
