Netflix has decided to increase investment in South Korea. The digital broadcasting platform announced yesterday that it will invest $2.5 billion in South Korean productions over the next 4 years. The company has been losing money because of password sharing and has decided to act on that as well. Password sharing will not be free for those who want to share their passwords with someone living out of their houses.

Drawing attention to the success of TV series such Squid Game and The Glory, the success of the South Korean market will continue. Regarding the situation The President of South Korea said: The new investment is a great opportunity for the South Korean content industry, producers and Netflix. We are very pleased with Netflix's outstanding investment decision."
